Rafael Goldchain’s work has been shown across Canada and abroad since 1980 and collected in important collections including the Canadian Museum for Contemporary Photography, and the Museum of Modern Art, NY. Born in Santiago de Chile Goldchain received an MFA from York University and a BAA from Ryerson Polytechnic Institute. Goldchain was awarded the 1989 Duke and Duchess of York Prize from The Canada Council. He is currently Program Coordinator of the Applied Photography Program at Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. |
