Heather Graham is a Toronto-based painter who has exhibited throughout Canada since 2002. Her current bodies of work examine portraits of strangers that appear to be caressed onto the canvas. The close up nature of her faces convey an intimacy between the artist and subject, with her subtle images clear when viewed at a distance, and dissolved into abstraction upon closer inspection. Graham graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design in 1981.
