Since graduating from OCA in 1997, John Nobrega has exhibited in a number of Toronto-based galleries and for the past two years has been included in the Casey House Art for Heart auction. For his body of work, Salon de Paris, the artist uses monkey portrait paintings to parody nineteenth-century French Romantic artists, dandies and intellectuals.
